committed to sustainable development for some years.<\/p><p>Cycling already enjoys a \u201cgreen\u201d image in public opinion and represents the very architype of the \u201cecological\u201d sport and means of transport par excellence.<\/p><p>It is not merely to follow current trends or to meet the demands and requirements of the sponsors, stage towns, cantons, the UCI or the IOC (which is enforcing the principles of sustainability throughout Olympic projects) that the Tour de Romandie is focusing on this field, but because compliance with the principles of sustainability is a universal duty, and even more so for the most important sporting event in French-speaking Switzerland.<\/p><p>From 2009, in particular with a study conducted with the AISTS (International Academy of Sport Science and Technology), the Tour de Romandie put in place different measures to plan and develop its work in the field of sustainable development.<\/p><p>The initial emphasis was put on waste management and transport development.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b2ce053 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"b2ce053\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6b500bb elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" to:<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-af979bb elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"af979bb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>\u2022 Reduce waste generation;<\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u2022 Recover and selectively sort waste;<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u2022 Reinforce education and awareness of waste management.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u2022 It was possible to achieve these goals by involving the different stakeholders (stage towns, highway departments, partners and sponsors), organising zones for selective waste sorting and setting up an educational campaign.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-042b773 txt_gradient elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"042b773\" l\u2019\u00e9dition 2026\u00a0:<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Comment est organis\u00e9e cette journ\u00e9e au sein de Liaudet Pial<\/strong><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rep\u00e9rage\u00a0des\u00a0lieux sur place avant intervention par Francis Troillet<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Choix du v\u00e9hicule adapt\u00e9<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>Le v\u00e9hicule intervenu \u00e0 Orbe \u00e9tait le C-48, camion 3 essieux \u00e0 ch\u00e2ssis court, de marque Iveco \u00e9quip\u00e9 d\u2019un syst\u00e8me Jurop. Ce v\u00e9hicule dispose d\u2019une capacit\u00e9 de stockage allant jusqu\u2019\u00e0 4.5 m\u00b3 et est particuli\u00e8rement adapt\u00e9 aux interventions dans\u00a0des\u00a0acc\u00e8s restreints ou petits chemins, tout en offrant une grande capacit\u00e9 de pompage ainsi qu\u2019une puissance suffisante pour les op\u00e9rations exigeantes.<\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Constitution d&rsquo;une \u00e9quipe de 2 personnes : chauffeur + aide<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Intervention et pompage<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>L\u2019\u00e9quipe \u00e9tait compos\u00e9e de deux personnes :<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chauffeur : responsable de la conduite du v\u00e9hicule, de la mise en s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de la zone d\u2019intervention, de l\u2019utilisation du syst\u00e8me de pompage ainsi que du bon d\u00e9roulement technique de l\u2019intervention.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aide : charg\u00e9 d\u2019assister le chauffeur lors de l\u2019installation du mat\u00e9riel, de la manipulation\u00a0des\u00a0tuyaux et \u00e9quipements, du suivi du pompage ainsi que du nettoyage et rangement en fin d\u2019intervention.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mission r\u00e9alis\u00e9e : intervention de pompage n\u00e9cessitant une coordination efficace entre les deux op\u00e9rateurs afin d\u2019assurer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 (beaucoup de monde), la rapidit\u00e9 et la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019intervention.<\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Passage \u00e0 la STEP<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><br \/>Comment sont g\u00e9r\u00e9s les d\u00e9chets apr\u00e8s la\u00a0vidange\u00a0des\u00a0cars\u00a0?<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Apr\u00e8s l\u2019intervention, les mati\u00e8res collect\u00e9es (principalement de l\u2019urine) ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9vacu\u00e9es via le collecteur d\u2019eaux us\u00e9es de la commune afin d\u2019\u00eatre achemin\u00e9es vers la STEP pour traitement. Le volume pomp\u00e9 \u00e9tait d\u2019environ 1.5 m\u00b3 (env. 1\u2019500 litres).
