For several years now, the Tour de Romandie caravan – which is around twenty vehicles long – has been preceding the peloton by 30 to 45 minutes.
Created in 1930 on the Tour de France, the publicity caravan has developed significantly over the years. The creative and festive opening parade has conquered brands and public, to the extent that it has become an essential component of the Tour de Romandie show. Today, it provides unique entertainment. People do not just come to the Tour to watch the race.
Once again this year, the advertising caravan will be offering its Golden Ticket. In addition to the usual goodies handed out by sponsors, a higher-value prize will be randomly awarded to a spectator along the route. So come to the roadside and try to win a stand-up paddleboard, a wine tourism stay, concert tickets, a gift basket, and much more.
