Becoming a stage town for the Tour de Romandie is fully in line with our political commitment to hosting major sporting events. This event has been a fantastic showcase for our city thanks to the public's enthusiasm and the significant media coverage it received. Hosting a time trial stage of the Tour de Romandie was a major logistical challenge to overcome. The result lived up to our investment and expectations, as the large crowd was delighted to cheer on these cyclists along the entire route.

Chippis

Hosting such an event is a wonderful way to promote tourism and sports in the region. The popular enthusiasm surrounding the Tour de Romandie shows that cycling is very popular, whether in the host cities or along the roadside. The numerous congratulatory messages received from all quarters have largely offset the committee's investments.
