General time classification
Fromagerie Le Maréchal
The “Fromage Le Maréchal” yellow jersey distinguishes the best placed rider in the individual general time classification. After each stage, this jersey is awarded to the rider at the head of the classification. The Tour de Romandie’s main sponsor, “Fromage Le Maréchal”, sponsors the leader’s jersey. Carlos Rodriguez Cano (IGD) won the leader’s jersey in the last edition.
General points classification
JouezSport!
The Loterie Romande “JouezSport!” orange jersey is awarded every day to the rider who has picked up the most points awarded for the intermediary sprints during the stage, as well as those at the finish; it thus rewards the best sprinter. Dorian Godon (DAT) won it in 2024.
General classification for best climber
Primeo Energie
The “Primeo Energie” King of the Mountain jersey rewards the best climber in the peloton every day, namely the rider who has accumulated the most points during the King of the Mountain sections, which are worth a different amount of points depending on their level of difficulty. Juri Hollmann (ADC) took it in 2024.
General classification for best young rider
Banque du Léman
The best young rider classification is reserved for riders aged under 25. The best ranked among them in the individual general time classification is the daily leader of the young riders and wears the “Banque du Léman” jersey. This is the young rider’s version of the yellow jersey! Carlos Rodriguez Cano (IGD) won it during the last edition.
Combativity Prize
Chicco d’Oro
Created in 1952 on the Tour de France, this distinction rewards the greatest sporting moments in each stage. The Combativity Prize rewards the rider who has distinguished themself through their courage, tireless effort and team spirit. It is a prize that highlights audacity and transcendence, and all the essential values that make cycling an exceptional sport. This “qualitative” prize is awarded after each stage by a jury of leading figures from the cycling world and the media. The Italian rider Andrea Vendrame (DAT) won this distinction during the Tour de Romandie 2024.
Prize for the Best Swiss Rider
RTS
This distinction created especially for the Men’s Tour de Romandie is reserved for the event’s Swiss riders. The first to finish each stage is the daily leader of the Swiss riders. After the final stage, the best ranked of them in the general time classification is declared winner of the Prize for the Best Swiss Rider. In 2024, Yannis Voisard (TUD) won this distinction.
