START : Sion
Sion, capital of the Canton of Valais. With its narrow little streets climbing towards the castles and museums, the mediaeval old town is one of the best preserved in Switzerland. It is also one of the liveliest, with its dozens of boutiques and its shopping centres, as well as the many restaurants and terraces where you can enjoy the sun all year round. In summer, the streets turn into theatres and concert venues, with many events giving rhythm to the life of the city. From Sion, experience the Canton of Valais by bike: from Thyon 2000 and Derborence, to Val d’Hérens and the Sanetsch Pass, there is much to see.

FINISH : Thyon
The Thyon-Région resort is particularly suitable for family holidays. It has many holiday apartments and offers a pretty panorama dominated by the very famous Matterhorn and the majestic Dent Blanche. Thyon is particularly well-adapted to the needs of skiers and constitutes the eastern tip of the vast “4 Vallées” area.
