ARRIVAL: Charmey
Charmey, in the Jogne Valley, has already written several significant pages in the history of the Tour de Romandie. From 1973 to 2012, the village repeatedly hosted decisive stage finishes, confirming its status as an ideal setting for demanding routes. Surrounded by forests, ridges, and high-altitude pastures, the resort offers a pre-Alpine landscape where the terrain naturally shapes the effort. The finish of the queen stage in 2026 continues this tradition: a mountain day, challenging and spectacular, where elevation gain will play a central role. Spectators and fans will thrill to the successive passages of the riders before the final sprint to the finish line.
